Former Blackburn boss Henning Berg is back in football after Polish club Legia Warsaw revealed the Norwegian will be their new manager.

The ex-Manchester United defender endured a difficult time at the Ewood Park helm, lasting just 57 days and winning only one of the 10 games for which he took charge of during a typically tumultuous season for Rovers.

Berg has not had a managerial job since but did recently reveal he was doing some scouting work on behalf of Premier League side Norwich.

In a statement on their website, Warsaw revealed the 44-year-old will officially begin his role on January 1 and will be presented to the media on Friday.
